About PVG

Welcome to Portable Video Gamer! We provide news, reviews and commentary about the handheld video game market. There is no shortage of blogs on the net, and certainly no shortage of sites devoted to video games, but PVG is special.  We recognize that you are passionate about gaming, and particularly games you can take with you.  If you are anything like us, you probably own two or three portable systems already — and play them all. Our mission is to bring you the most recent news about up-and-coming games for handheld systems, regardless of whether you consider your self a Sony or Nintendo fanboy. 

Portable Video Gamer has been online since January 17, 2007.

Kris Erickson, Senior Editor and PSP Writer: Kris is a lifelong gamer and native of Vancouver, Canada. When he is not working at his day job as a college instructor, he keeps himself busy playing the latest PSP games and dreaming up ways to make PVG the best handheld gaming resource on the web.

Sergio Gonzalez, DS writer: Currently residing in California and studying videogame design, Sergio can’t get enough DS in his life. He loves playing any DS game that’s decent enough to play (and aven some that aren´t) and he enjoys sharing his experiences with PVG readers. If you have a DS-related question, Sergio’s the guy to ask!
