Blue / Black DS Lite coming soon

It’s time once again for a blending of colors. It is almost a given that Nintendo is about to release a blue / back DS Lite, similar to the Crimson / Onyx system previously available. First we saw an eBay auction, but now Circuit City has this new iteration available for pre-order for the standard $129.99 unit price, said to be ‘coming soon’. It’s strange; we would think it would be easier to bring the Cobalt Blue DS Lite from Japan instead of creating a new, two-tone model, but hey, the more the merrier.

[UPDATE]: It’s official; the Cobalt / Black DS Lite is set to be up for sale on Sunday, February 10, alongside the release of Professor Layton and the Curious Village.
