GameStop / EB Games sale: Portable Gaming Discounts
As we know, money doesn’t grow on trees, and any opportunity to save some cash is well worth it. Beginning May 27th (next Sunday) until June 17th, EB Games and GameStop stores across the US will have their Game Days sale, offering a variety of game discounts for all gaming platforms. There are a few offers worth checking out, and we’ve looked at some portable games you could add to your collection for a lower price.
GBA – Castlevania Double Pack: $14.99
A collection of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, two excellent portable entries to the series, is now half price. At $15, there is no excuse to not get this game; that is, if you can find it.
DS – Sonic Rush: $14.99
DS – Age of Empires: $14.99
These games, featured in our Budget DS Titles list a while back, are now available at an even lower price. For $15, you can get a great side-scrolling Sonic adventure or a deep strategy game with a lot of replay value. Might as well get both! A cult classic, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney enters the courtroom with a $10 discount. Phoenix Wright is an adventure game featuring a rookie attorney solving cases, investigating crime scenes, and fighting the prosecution to prove the innocence of his clients. It’s a very addictive and funny game, if you don’t mind reading a lot.
PSP – PoPoLoCrois: $9.99
A turn-based RPG featuring over 30 hours of play and a variety of playable characters, PoPoLoCrois was already worth your $20, now it’s a no-brainer for $10. It also earned a spot in our Top 5 Budget PSP Games list, so you know it must be good!
PSP – Worms: Open Warfare: $14.99
The series returns with a portable installment of the popular 2D turn-based strategy game. Worms: Open Warfare is an accessible strategy game that makes it easy for players of any skill level to enjoy it; a pretty good deal for $15.
