Double dose of Phoenix Wright news

The popular attorney Phoenix Wright is back for more Nintendo DS courtroom action. The series has seen the first two installments hit America with very good reception, especially from the fanbase it created. As you might know, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations, the third entry for the series, is due to hit the West on September 25th. Today, we have some Phoenix Wright-esque news to feul the hype (in case you weren’t already excited enough already)!
First of all, Phoenix Wright 5 has been confirmed. Capcom states the game is in the works, and although there is no specific platform for it just yet, we can safely assume it will launch for the Nintendo DS. PW5 is likely going to continue from the fourth PW installment, which hit Japan a few months ago and features a brand new ace attorney fighting the prosecution. Phoenix Wright 4 is very likely going to be released State-side; we’ll keep you updated on any Phoenix Wright 4 or 5 news.
Also, Gyakuten Saiban 3, the Japanese version of Phoenix Wright 3, is being ported to Japanese DS systems on August 23, just over a month ahead of the US release of the game. Capcom has confirmed the Japanese game will feature a full English translation, meaning desperate importers can get their hands on the game sooner. You could import the Best Price version of Gyakuten Saiban 3 (comes to around $28), or you could just wait and support sales of the game in America, your choice.
Whichever you choose though, here’s the official Phoenix Wright 3 trailer to keep you excited:
